Since Faith has been sick we started saying prayers over her and laying our hands on her. We also started doing one decade of the rosary as a family the other day. Today Hope did the entire rosary for Faith by herself just because she wanted to! How sweet is she! We did another decade tonight and Hope wanted to do the whole thing again! Even Micah sits through it and holds the rosary for us! I love it when you just feel God's grace and peace as you pray as a family! God is good!

Update on Faith

Friends and Family...we took Faith to the doctor for the 5th time and took the test for RSV and tested positive for it. We ask that you continue to pray for her. She needs it. Please ask our Lord and Savior for a healing and quick recovery. Thank-you all for your faithfulness in this.

Where to Begin....

It has been almost 10 months since I blogged! Crazy! But I find it hard to find time to write.

So where do I begin....I guess right here and now!

As most of you know, we were blessed with another baby girl who arrived on Christmas Eve! Faith Kateri 8lbs. 0oz. 20 inches at 1:40pm. She was the exact same weight and length as her sister Hope!!! She also reminds us a lot of her.

Since she has been born she has definitely thrown us for a loop and God has made sure he is first in our lives. Our prayer life has never been stronger and I think we needed to be reminded to always put God first (which can get pushed aside when you have 3 now 4 very demanding children! ) We also saw a movie which really makes you appreciate and cherish every moment with your children.

Here is the update on what has been going on with our baby girl....

1. We went to her 3 day old visit and her weight was only at 7lbs 5 oz. which she lost more than 10% of her birth weight so...

2. We had to go back the next day to weight her...She weighed 7lbs. 8 oz!! Yeah! So we were cleared to go!! But...

3. The next day she ended up with blood in her poop....I mean her whole diaper was blood! Scary! So we went back to the doctor (did I mention it is 40 minutes away!!) They thought it was from me nursing (since I was cut so bad due to very bad nursing pads), dairy and a cut on her bottom. So I had to stop dairy and nursing. I had to pump and feed her a bottle which is double the work and time. I felt like I was pumping and nursing all day! Then...

4. We had to go back the next day to check for blood in her stool again! They were sure there would still be some but wanted to make sure she was better. When they checked...it was a miracle!!! No blood whatsoever!!! Woo hoo! So it was just from me...yuck! Poor baby! We were cleared again and had to schedule her 2 week check up for the following Friday. But...

5. On Wednesday afternoon she started to sound congested so we changed her appointment to Thursday. Faith has caught her brothers and sisters cold and is congested and chokes on her snot...very bad!! It is scary and she has a hard time catching her breath! She also is not back up to her birth weight which they were worried about too. So...

6. We ask for prayers for Faith. We pray that God's healing hand come upon her and heal our sweet baby girl. We ask for prayers that she gets healthy and keeps growing and getting stronger every day!

Isaiah turned 6!! Crazy! He is in Kindergarten (home schooled). He has his first loose tooth! And he is still SO LOUD! LOL!

Funny Saying: Mom when are you going to fall into labor?? LOL!

Hope is going to be 5 in a couple months!!! She is also in Kindergarten with Isaiah and keeping right up with him! She is all girl...mostly sweet but can be sassy too! She is the best big sister and would hold Faith all day if I let her:)

Micah is going to be 2 next month!!! He is really a very funny kid! He loves to be silly and talks up a storm! I can't believe all the words he knows! He is adjusting to having a new baby in the house. He loves her but wants and needs A LOT of attention!

Night 2 Without the Pappy

Hope did great! Dave put her down and it only took her 30 minutes to go to sleep. She only cried for a few minutes!! She did wake up a few times but Dave just covered her up and she whimpered a little bit. She still asks for it every night but is going all night without it! I am so proud of her! We went to buy a little gift for giving up her pappy...(I was going to buy it anyway but it worked out perfect that I could buy it for this occasion)...she got a Dora suitcase for all of our travels! She was so happy and rolled it around all day. We are also cutting nap time...only due to the loss of her pappy. I didn't want to make her upset about it. She was only sleeping about 45 minutes if she would go down anyways. I think she needs an occasional nap...but I think it will be in the car. Keep the prayers coming!

I cannot believe Hope is 4! Where does the time go...seriously! It seems like just a little while ago she was a baby. And now...she is losing that baby look and becoming such a big girl! We celebrated Hope's birthday yesterday. It was so much fun. It was small but so nice and relaxing...which birthday parties usually are crazy for me. We rented a clubhouse room at a park like we did for Micah but this one was better. Enjoy the pictures!

She wanted a monkey theme for her birthday! I love how sweet and innocent she is:)

Her godfather Randy with his two kids made the 3 1/2 hour drive down for her party...and then back up!! What a trooper he is!! Hope loves her godfather:)

Some of the kids couldn't make it last minute and some where late...but we started the craft and then they joined in! The four little ones...with their monkey masks they made! Isaiah did an awesome job coloring is! So proud of him:)

Pin the tail on the monkey! Well....at least we didn't have any cheaters! LOL! Isaiah was the winner with the green tail in the middle:)

She did great releasing them...no tears! And is was so much better than Isaiah's. It was a cloudy, windy day so they were gone fast! Nighttime...not so much fun...poor baby. She cried for about an hour and woke up a few times during the night and cried. She was really upset. I never realized that she used to play with it too when she went to sleep. Today is night #2 so we will see how it goes. Dave put her down tonight and they was less crying so that is good! Just pray for her! The only thing that kept me from not giving it back was to keep telling myself that the right thing to do is not always the easiest thing to do!

A Couple Quick Things...

1. Micah is walking all over the place. He started taking a few steps a week before he turned 1 (Superbowl Sunday). But two days ago he started walking more than crawling. I am actually very happy about this....I didn't think I would be but...its mostly a germ thing...I think crawling everywhere on the ground is so dirty and gross. So happy he is walking:) LOL!

2. We took Micah to the allergist today. We were going to have him blood tested but she talked us into skin testing since we would have the results today and if they weren't OK then we could blood test. Micah was a champ. Not even a cry, tear or anything. He was actually laughing. Turns out he is allergic to milk and eggs and slightly allergic to nuts (which we figured anyway). She said he would probably be fine with eggs in baked goods but not scrambles eggs. So, I was going to but Micah on organic toddler soy formula....not really many options....but she said that since he is allergic to milk if I put him on soy he could become allergic to that too?? Any thoughts?? The positive to this is that most kids outgrow milk and egg allergies between 3 and 5. So keep him in your prayers!

3. Lent....this year the kids are more involved in lent. Dave gave up sweets! (I couldn't do that...I need something to get me through the day since I cant tolerate caffeine). Instead I gave up facebook. I found myself always checking it and need a break from it. I also decided to give Dave more time at work so I am going to get up every morning at 7 instead of 7:30. The kids gave up a toy and they will get it back Easter Sunday! Isaiah is very excited about it. What are you doing for Lent?

4. Hope is really funny and using her cuteness to get what she wants. Today as we were running to put more change in the meter she kept telling me...."Stop running honey. Why are you running honey." LOL! So funny!

5. Please keep Isaiah in your prayers....he has had this dry cough for more than two weeks. He went to the doctor in the beginning of it and he thought it was allergies...but we are going to take him again tomorrow. It is so weird...he doesn't cough when he is playing or running around at all....more when he is laying down or sitting. I will keep you posted.

6. I saved the best for last (well the best for me that is)...Micah is sleeping through the night. Before Kerri and Joe got here we were desperate. Micah was waking 4 or 5 times a night and the only way to get him back to sleep was to nurse him. I was exhausted!!! So we decided to change the sleeping arrangements around. We put Micah in his own room and now we have a dorm with with the kids! LOL! There are three mattresses on the floor. Micah cried the first night for an hour when I put him in and than on and off for 1 1/2 hour during the night. Usually he sleeps all night but cries out here and there. I am so thankful for all the sleep we are all getting. We truely needed it! God is good:)

It has been so long AGAIN since I posted. I was trying to do better but it didn't happen. I can always tell it has been way to long by the number of pictures I have to upload....this time 43! (And of course those are only the ones that make it here!)

Since you have seen them last...they are growing...and have some really BIG muscles! LOL!

Hope with all her jewelry...don't get any ideas for her birthday...she only puts them all on for a few minutes and then they go back in her jewelry box!! She doesn't wear them out at all. She is really silly!

Hope is also taking ballet at the Y just like her cousins Ana, Monica, and Makenzie! She likes it but it is not like a real dance class where they learn a routine. She has her "recital" this Friday....we will see how it goes! LOL!

Kerri and Joe came into town for a visit! The kids have been asking since we got here in December when they were coming! They were so excited! We went to the pier to ride on rides and of course only 2 were open. Here is Isaiah and Joe on the scrambler. Kerri and Hope went on the Ferris Wheel....I couldn't catch a picture of them...not because it goes so fast...but because you can barely see them inside the car!

***I almost forgot to mention that Joe proposed to Kerri on this trip...and she said YES!! So exciting! I am so happy to help plan another wedding and to soon have another great brother in law!! Love you guys!!***

There was also a bird sanctuary. Joe and Isaiah decided to feed the birds. Us girls took the pictures and got out of there! Those birds were crazy! Joe had 2 on each shoulder, one on his arm and one on his head! Too bad I didn't get that one!!

Micah's first haircut! I should have known this was not going to be fun! He HATES when I brush his hair! He wiggled, he cried (a little) we changed positions A LOT...but we got it done! I was sweating! I put the kids in charge of taking pictures of Micah while getting his haircut...little did I know...they took 50 (not even joking) pictures! Not of Micah but of everything else in the place! The other people must have thought I was crazy! LOL!

Oh...here is the before picture...not too bad today...but it gets out of control! I did not make it really short...but it looks good!

We are keeping busy here...Isaiah is in soccer 2 times a week. He is also taking piano lessons and really enjoying them. I am learning a lot too! I really have to pay attention since I am the one who has to teach him at home! Hope is doing ballet which ends this week. And Micah is doing the alternative allergist and is going to see another allergist so that we can blood test him to find out all his allergies. It is so scary! He breaks out in hives just from touching dairy! Poor baby! Now one to plan another birthday party! Hope is going to be 4 soon:(

Dave and his company have been at toy fair all week. I am very excited for him to come home today. This year toy fair went very well..and they made the news!! Check Randy out!!

A rough couple of days...

The past three days have been very stressful and I can tell...because today I started to feel like a panic attack was coming on!! And I haven't had one in a very long time!

A few nights ago, I could not sleep. I was up almost all night long. My back was killing me. Every time I would start to fall asleep...I was jerked awake by stabbing pains in my back. The next day they felt better but at night it started to hurt again. I researched on the Internet...and it could have been a lot of things...(note to everyone...don't search on the Internet...it can scare the poop out of you!). Anyway...Ashley came to watch the kids sleep while we went to the ER. It ended up being muscle spasms....thank God....and I have to just take Tylenol and use a heating pad. Two days later....still in a little pain but much better!

Yesterday...Micah fell and hit his head pretty hard on the wood floor (not the first time it has happened). He cried for about 5 minutes really hard. I finally calmed him down and a few minutes later I went to change his diaper. He laid there (which he never does) and then his eyes got really weird looking and started to flutter and close. I freaked out and called 911 ...again! I didnt know if he had a concussion but...he ended up being OK but gosh so scary.

Today...Dave fed Micah yogurt. He tried it a few weeks ago...a bite or two. So today he ate it and broke out in a rash and hives! Poor baby! We called the doctor and gave him some benedryl. He was acting fine but the rash was so scary and reminded me of what we have gone through with Isaiah and his nut allergy. I pray that he is not allergic to dairy!! What a hard one especially when all my other kids eat is dairy! We started NAET (allergic elimination technique) a few weeks ago with Micah like we did with the other kids. So glad we started since we will have a long journey ahead with him.

Please keep us all in your prayers. I know it may not sound like a lot and people have it a whole lot worse....but it stresses me out a lot! I know these are definitely tests of faith and God will lead me through and make me a stronger person.

Celebrations!

I finally got around to uploading pictures since we have begun our trip here. And as I looked at them...they all are about celebrating. Whether we are celebrating Christmas, New Years or being with friends and family...we are really enjoying all the celebrations! Hope you will too.

So...here is my update in pictures...as usual:)

Here are a couple of pictures from Thanksgiving before we left. We hosted again this year and had such a great time. Scott's family came again and my grandma came too! We played games and had such a blast...forgot how fun pictionary can be!! This picture is so cute:) Pa with his youngest grandsons!

LOL! Last year we squirted whip cream into Isaiah's mouth...he loved it so much that he remembered it from last year and kept asking to do it again!! Dave liked to squirt it in his face!!!

AND of course we could never forget Isaiah turned five* (tear) on Thanksgiving....where did the time go??

Now....onto California....

As soon as we got here the kids wanted a Christmas tree and to decorate so the first week year was very hectic...but we did it:) Here is our littlest helper:) He LOVED the ornaments! Thank goodness they were plastic! The only downfall was some of them had glitter so it would get all over him. LOL! Whenever we would let him crawl downstairs near the tree he would go right for the ornaments...we would say "No, no" and he would stop, turn around with a huge smile and then turn back around and grab them!! Little stinker!

Isaiah wanted to join soccer while we are here. We were not sure what to expect...they started with some drills and games.....then they put on jerseys and Coach Milton separeted them into teams. It was so great to watch! Isaiah he really good (seeing as how he has never really played). He almost scored 3 goals...he is one of the fastest on the team and it is so cute that he cheers his players on:) He also loves to dive and fall on the ground (like when he ice skates) and he like to check!!! Who taught him that??? Can't wait for next week to see how he does:)

Things...

I have been meaning to post since we arrived but I feel like we have been running and running. When we first got here it was beautiful and we were outside, going for walks, shopping...(I know don't be jealous because now it has been raining for 5 DAYS!!! AHHHH!!!) Hopefully it will all be gone tomorrow because keep kids entertained in a small place with not so many toys=not so much fun! LOL!

Other than that we are finally all adjusted to the time change. That was so crazy! Micah thought 2:30am was morning! Thank God I have such an amazing husband to help me and who realizes that I require waaaayyy more sleep than him! LOL!

Here is my quick catch up on all of us...

Isaiah....had the hardest time adjusting here. He is really not good with change and really misses his friends (the neighbors). He was acting out and not being very nice but has finally come around. I think with school starting up again there is some structure to his days and he is liking that. He loves to be outdoors and playing with his friends. We met 2 kids one day at the park and he keeps asking about our new friends every.single.day!!! We now have Skype so he is talking with the neighbors...and I think that helps too!

Hope...loves it here. She is so easy going although she can have her moments too! She is really sweet and very thoughtful. Usually my helper! She is also my chatterbox! She is usually very shy when she meets new people but the one day at the park she was talking up a storm with some woman...it was soooo funny! She kept telling her to watch her jump and watch her go down the slide. The woman probably thought she was neglected at home...LOL! Far from it!!

Micah...well since the last post he did cut all 4 teeth in 5 days! First the top 2 and then the bottom 2...strange! He dances on command...if we say "Shake your booney" he will swing his hips back and forth....so cute!! He also waves bye-bye now and just starting clapping today when we say Yeah! LOVE IT! We are also finding out that I think he gets car sick here. When we drive up to Valencia and back he ends up throwing up when we get home and is really, really cranky! I think it is because he is still facing the back....but 2 more months and that will all change! So crazy to think that he will be 1 very soon:(

OH AND we did call 911 one day because he LOVES to put EVERYTHING in his mouth...and he was choking! I flipped him upside down and Dave did a finger sweep of his mouth. It was all so scary...but he did puke up a puffy sticker that was on the window and must have fell off. Thank GOD he was fine and everything worked out! I am not good in those situations! Thank you Jesus for Dave who is so good during these times.

We are enjoying our time here but also miss home. (Although not really the snow and cold! I used to think I liked it but with a baby I felt trapped....like I didn't want to drag him out in the cold...oh and all the layers...for all the kids....I am exhausted thinking about it again...LOL!)

Micah has been miserable! He is 9 months with no teeth but....is cutting 4!! right now!! He has been a grump and I cannot wait until they pop through and I have my happy baby back! He has been waking a lot too at night which makes me so tired again...LOL!

On the other hand..I can wait...because I am still nursing and really not looking forward to 4 little chompers! AHHH!! He hurts enough with just his gums! LOL!

We celebrated Isaiah's 5th birthday this past weekend. We wanted to have it early so more people could come (it is on Thanksgiving this year)....not everyone could make it but we still had so many people. We also wanted it early because we changed his room to John Deere for his birthday too!

And at the age of 5...we finally are rid of the pappy!! He really didn't use it but still would take it at bedtime. One day I told him we should tie it to a balloon and let it go. A few weeks later he said he wanted to attach it to a balloon and send it to the babies in heaven. Very sweet. It was a very clear day and no wind that day...just praying we don't find it on our property someday. :)

Micah was doing great with sleeping at night until the time change. He thinks 5am is morning. Not that I should be the one complaining...Dave gets up with him. One more reason why I love that man. He knows I need my sleep or I will be crabby...LOL! So Micah was doing better at night before the time change. I am hoping he gets back to that. He was going down between 7 and 7:30 waking between 4 and 5am to eat and then sleeping until 6:30-7!! How awesome is that!! Love that little man!
The other kids are having a tough time too. Getting up early and being really tired during the day. Hope took a 2 1/2 hour nap that I had to wake her up from!!! Hopefully they will get back on track soon:)

Nights 4 and 5

Night 4

I put Micah in bed and he cried for a minute or two and then fell asleep. He woke up at 3:30am!!!! For a few minutes and then fell back asleep until 5:55am!! Woo hoo! I fed him and he was up for the morning. A little early but what a great night:)

Night 5

I put Micah in his crib and he was asleep within a few minutes. He woke up at 10pm for a minute and cried out (sounded like a bad dream) and then didn't wake again until 3:30am...but this night he was up off and on from 3:30-4:50 where I finally decided to feed him. Then he went back to sleep until 7:30!! I am loving it!

Well as I write this....this day has been crazy!! Micah took his morning nap as usual but refused to go down for his second nap. We tried and tried...and finally at 5:30 drove him around. He did fall asleep but only for about 45 minutes. I put him in his crib now...and I feel like we are starting at night #1 all over again!! Did this happen to any of you??

So in my last post I said my camera died after our visit with Aunt Kim and everyone. Well...thank God for Ashley and her camera because she got some really great pictures of the kids at the the beach and with their cousins!

I love this one! He slept for an 1 1/2 at the beach! But who doesn't love to sleep there?

We have had a lot of visitors this year, which was really nice and kept us busy. Then we took a few little trips of our own. We really are homebodies and love to be with our family. Here are some pictures to catch everyone up on what's been going on in the Socha home.

My grandma and grandpa came to visit from Georgia. I am so glad I remembered to take pictures. Sometimes I am really bad at that. This one was cute. Hope wanted to be in it but not too close. LOL!

And this one turned out so cute! Micah loved them!

Then we took our trip to Notre Dame. This is the first time ever that they opened up the tunnel to the public...this is where the players come out onto the field. It was great to see the field and experience it so close.

Hope and Micah were sleeping in the stroller at the time of the pictures...in case you were wondering where they were. LOL!

Isaiah was so excited about his new ND outfit. Funny story....We are at an Italian restaurant and Isaiah got two little drops of sauce on his shirt. He was upset and wanted to know if it would come out...I said it would and put a napkin on him like a bib for the rest of the meal. Well later on we were all talking and instead of Isaiah asking us to get him some bread, he went to get it himself. Well...he climbed up on the chair and reached for it and fell stomach first into his plate of pasta!!! He was covered in sauce!! LOL! So now he wondered if that would come out! I had to give him my shirt to wear out (I had a tank top on....and the only other choice was Hope's pink shirt which he refused to wear). People were probably wondering what was going on at our table....oh well! The joys and laughter of kids. OH and by the way...Ashley got the stain out :)

Nights 2 and 3

Night 2
Micah's naps were a little messed up today. So when I went to put him to bed, he was so exhausted that he fell asleep while nursing at 7:15. He woke up at 8:45pm crying but went back to sleep after only 8 minutes. Then he did wake a lot during the night. He woke at 10pm and 12 am. Then he cried off and on from 1-2 again, but he did finally go back to sleep. Then he woke again at 3 and 4. I almost fed him at 4 but Dave said to wait a few minutes. Well...I guess we must have feel back asleep because when he cried again it was 5:55 am!! Woo hoo!! It is still a long night and lots of wakings but I hope each night gets better and better! It already is nice not to get out of bed all night long and the best part is that I am not nursing all night long!!

Night 3
I put Micah to bed at 8:24pm and he cried for about 1 minute and was asleep by 8:30pm!! I cant believe it! I used to walk and walk and walk...and sing and sing and sing! And then when I would put him down he would wake a a little while later only to start all over again!
He woke a bunch of times again....10:30pm, 11:30pm, 2:30am, 4:30am, 5:30am (I did feed him then and he went back to sleep until 7:30 am!!) I am so impressed by that little man. We all really need some sleep. I hope the wakings do get less and less (as I am seeing already). I still do hate to see him cry but know that he needs to soothe himself and sleep!

Right now as I type this I put him in his crib for his nap. Not sure if he will go to sleep on his own yet for nap time, but worth a try. He was pushing off when I went to put him in so I thought it was worth a try.

Hope this doesn't bore you...just want to remember this when he gets older! :)

Baby Boot Camp Begins

Well it actually started last night.

Poor Micah! I love him so much! But the poor little guy is not a good sleeper. It is partly our fault because we have always put him to sleep or go in when he wakes up and put him back to sleep. We felt we had to do it when he was little due to the reflux...and lately with all his food/stomach issues....but he doesn't want to be held anymore and throws himself...actually he doesn't know what he wants:). Hence..the beginning of baby boot camp.

Really it is just the cry it out method, which I HATE!! but hopefully it will work! Last night it took him 18 mins to go to sleep (which felt a LOT longer!!) so I thought not bad...but then he cried off and on from 1-2am....poor thing! I just watched him on the video monitor the whole time...LOL! I had to put his real crib bumper in because he can stand but...he cannot get down LOL! Good thing I did or he would have hit his head so many times. Anyway...he cried out again at 3 am for a few minutes and then at 5 am (I fed him then since he was used to eating all night long and I figured he was hungry) then he went back to sleep until 7:30am. Not too bad.

Hopefully better tonight...although his nap was messed up and he was pretty much asleep after I nursed him so we will see how it goes....He was already up once and cried for only 8 minutes (off and on) and is back to sleep.

Pray for us and for Micah that he gets all the sleep he really needs:)

Oh and FYI...I have a ton of new pictures to post but the picture uploader is down right now. Hopefully I will get to it soon:)

Finally another post. I am really trying to get better with posting. We are enjoying the beginning of the fall weather here and the start to our school year. Yes I am homeschooling again...but still just pre-k. The kids seem to like it and I really like it too. We are still figuring out some things but otherwise they are doing pretty well. I started with reading program for Isaiah that was supposed to be good...but we both did not like it and we stopped after day 2. He was not liking reading...and what is the point if he does not LOVE to read!! So...I am teaching him the same way I taught all my other students and he is liking it much better. Hope is doing great with it too. Another advantage of such a close age is I can teach them the same things...and they both get it!! LOVE it!

Date night with Dave and Micah. We have been trying to be better about going out on date nights since we have Ashley here. The big kids complain when we are leaving but we go around 2 or 3 in the afternoon and are back to put them in bed...so then they dont mind.

Thrush

For the past 3-4 weeks, we have been dealing with thrush. Poor Micah got it somehow and it has taken forever to go away. We first tried the medicine, but he was spitting up so much on it and got a rash on his face (which I will talk about later...but not from the medicine)...So we took him off of that and I researched a natural way to do it. He has been on diluted grapefruit seed extract for a few weeks. I think it is finally almost all gone...I only saw a tiny spot in his mouth today. So please pray it it gone.

I never realized how much you have to wash, sanitize, boil and wash again. We have been washing all his toys as soon as he is done with them, his sheets everyday, boiling his pappy's everyday, making sure the big kids don't get it!! So crazy. So that is why I have little time to blog. LOL! Although...thank God for Ashley...she is amazing and such a huge help. Without her...well I don't want to think about it. LOL! God always provides!

Micah was also not sleeping well when we had it. He would scream when we tried to give him a pappy at night...and the only way to calm him down was to feed him. I was feeding him 3-4 times a night....I was exhausted!!! So last week we finally weaned him again! Then I thought I was getting the thrush the other day! I freaked out and called the doctor to get medicine...but after reading it and all the side effects I didn't want to take it!! LOL! So again I searched and I have been using the grapefruit seed extract as well. For some reason, we are more of a all natural family and that works well for us. The medicines...not so much.

So about Micah's rash on his face....
He gets this rash on his face after playing with toys or rolling around on the floor. We thought it was from his medicine, then his other medicine, the his juice cup....Well, my sister just happened to want to see Isaiah's baby book from when he was 6-7 months old and....Isaiah had the same rash on his face. I completely forgot about it! It is from his saliva when they are teething. I am so glad I take so many pictures so I can remember things like this!

I cannot believe Micah is going to be 7 months tomorrow:( It is going so fast!

6 month check up for Micah

Well...he is growing that's for sure :)

30 inches long= 100th percentile

21 lbs 3 oz= 94th percentile

We did not have to go through shots today because I opted out of them for now. Micah has not slept the past two nights very much and I realized last night that he has thrush. So I got the medicine today at the doctors office. I want that to clear first before I get him the shots so that I know what he is having a reaction too..if he has a reaction. So, we go back Sept 2nd for those nasty shots:( Praying he sleeps better tonight, that the thrush goes away quickly, and that nobody else gets it! Please pray with me.

Kingdom Bound

We had such an amazing time at Kingdom Bound this year. It is a Christian event that takes place every year at Darien Lake. We went last year but drove back and forth everyday. That was really tiring so we decided to camp there this year. It was a blast! Our neighbors went with us and the kids loved it! We took the kids to the Kidz Tent everyday for songs and plays....my kids are still singing the songs and so are we. I had a great time in there..hehe! We also went to a couple of the speakers and one concert. Of course we wish we could have gone to more but with the little ones....we couldn't stay out too late.

Camping went great! I stayed in the back with Micah and pretty much had to feed him when he woke up so that he did not wake everyone up. So I really was the only one lacking sleep...I think I am still trying to catch up! LOL! It was really hot so we also went to the water park everyday. The water was freezing but refreshing! We also did some kiddie rides and some bigger rides. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Couples that Pray Together, Stay Together

Heard a great statistic while at Kingdom Bound this week.

Today, 1 in 2 couples get divorced but...when couples pray out loud together their chance of divorce is 1 in 1,052!!!

Isn't that crazy! They found that while praying the other spouse would learn things about their spouse that they didn't know affected them. It would cause them to talk and communicate better! So amazing!

I am so glad Dave and I pray together but also that we pray for all of you!

I cannot believe that today is the last day of July! Where has the time gone?? It is flying by over here. I am trying to keep up on my blog as much as I can. My computer broke and I haven't gotten it fixed yet so I have been using Dave's. I do not usually upload pictures to his computer but I finally did the other day.

Here are some pictures of the last month. I will hopefully take a bunch over the next couple of days. We are going camping to Kingdom Bound at Darien Lake. We are so excited to go. Not sure how long we will last or how it will all go with a baby but...we plan on having a great time! Stop by or call us if you are going to be there!

Swim Lessons

We started swim lessons last week with the kids. It is two weeks long.

Isaiah LOVES it. He is doing great! At first I thought they were just going to play like at the YMCA, but they are really teaching him. Now at home he is really determined to swim on his own. He swims in the hot tub back and forth and from the hot to the side of the pool. He is really getting good and is so strong. We did have one incident where he slipped off the step and I had to jump in clothes, cell phone and all....but he got right back in. He still does not like to go under water though.

Hope...well let's just say she is not going any more. She lasted two days (really not even one.) She went with them and was doing great and then she just started to cry. They really tried everything to get her to do it. But after the second day when she just cried the whole time, I gave up. Every time we get ready to go she cries and says she doesn't want to. I tell her she is not swimming because they don't like criers (tried the reverse psychology thing) but it doesn't bother her at all. I was shocked because she LOVES the pool and is so daring and tries everything! Oh well, in our pool now she is in just arm floaties and jumps in and goes under water. She is doing amazing!!! I guess she just wants me to be close and nobody she doesn't know to be around.

I am so proud of them! They are getting so big!!

Silence equals busy!

I have been very silent on my blog lately and I am sorry for that. We just have been busy. You know...3 kids and lots of family visiting.

Dave's family always comes in for the 4th of July. It was so great to have them here. We all had such a great time and we were sad to see it come to an end. I would post pictures but I was too busy to take any...LOL! But both of my sister-in-laws took pictures so I will wait for them to post them. (wink wink:)

We also got to spend a little time with my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Sig while they were here. They are always so fun to be around and always make me laugh. Dave took us for a ride in this 6 seater thing back in the woods. It was fun but lots of bugs...I think I swallowed one...YUCK! And my poor Aunt kept getting hit with all the trees! Maybe it was just the driver. LOL!

We didn't get to see some of our family because Hope and Micah ended up with pink eye (or salt and butter eyes...LOL!) and Hope and Isaiah had swimmers ear too. They are all feeling better now but I do not like it when they are sick.

I am posting this right now because I was sick last night...I am feeling better now but taking it slow and staying away from the kids. It was horrible and I hope it is gone. I am trying to muster up some energy to go shower and hopefully that will make me feel even better!

4 month check up for Micah

We went to the doctor for his 4 month check up.
He was: 27 1/2 inches 98%tile and 19lbs 6oz 97%tile

Then he had shots and screamed for a while...and then screamed all the way home. Then we could not calm him down. I tried nursing and the pappy. Finally we called Isaiah and Hope in the room and they started being silly and he stopped crying and watched them. Thank God for silly brothers and sisters! I will never go by myself again!!!

I havent checked Isaiah's book to compare them. I cant check now because they are all going to sleep...but I will update later!

Sorry to leave you hanging for so long. Thank you for the prayers. We have been better since that weekend and just keeping ourselves busy!

I will hopefully post pictures soon. I know people have been asking for pictures of Micah.

We go to the doctor tomorrow for his 4 month check up so I will update you about how big he really is. LOL!

We are so excited that a lot of our family starts coming in town next week. We will have a busy few weeks and we hope to see everyone!!

Isaiah starts Tball next week and then the kids are going to take swimming lessons. Lets hope they actually learn to swim! They love the pool and Isaiah really wants to learn to swim.

Prayer Request for Our Family

Please have our family in your prayers tonight.

Hope went to immediate care yesterday and the er today. They tested her for strep throat but it came back negative. They think she just has a virus and to give her Motrin and Tylenol. Her fever was up to 104 without medicine. We just gave her a cold bath and some Tylenol and it has gone down.

On the way home from the ER this morning....we called home to Ashley (Dave's cousin who is staying with us) and she said Isaiah said he was cold, felt warm, and fell asleep. Now all of you that know Isaiah, know that he DOES NOT nap!! LOL! His symptoms just seem to be a fever about 103. The Motrin seems to take it down and when it does he eats and plays a little.

Micah...we are praying that he does not get sick. My mom is here taking care of him and bringing him to me when he is hungry. Poor baby I miss him....but we need him to stay healthy.

Dave and I have had very little sleep the past two nights so we are praying that we get just a little tonight.

We are praying a lot and trusting in the Lord. Very thankful it is only a fever, but so sad and tough with little ones. Just praying they are better in the morning. Tomorrow is a new day!

We are so thankful for all the help the Lord has provided us with. My parents to help with the kids and Ashley who will do anything we need. She is so sweet and we will miss her when she goes home. And my husband who stays calm during all the chaos....since I am the one who freaks out! I love him!

After being gone so long it takes a while to catch up. We have been busy here as I am sure you are too. We are finally getting some good weather...if those black flies would just go away we would really be enjoying the outside. Here are some pictures of the last few weeks since we have been home.

Camper fun! We take our camper out to dinner sometimes just to order out and eat in it (since the kids cannot eat at most places...we just cook for them in there). This occasion we went to church and then out to lunch....we meet lots of our family and friends last minute. It was so much fun! How many people can you fit in a camper...LOL! (We are missing some of them...I think they were playing in the back!)

Doctor's Appointments

Isaiah went for his 4 1/2 year well check....HAHA! We didn't take him in November because of the Swine Flu scare and he was perfectly healthy. He did great 42 lbs. 42 inches!!!

Isaiah also went to the allergist last week. They did skin tests which he never did before so I cannot compare if he is getting better. He was GREAT! He didn't even cry! He is still allergic for peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, coconut, peas and beans. Then we took him to the alternative allergist. She was not able to work on any of these because we avoid all of these foods, but after the skin test she could work on them. I guess we will see if it works next time we do his skin test. BUT even though we are clearing him of these things...she said we still should never give him nuts! :( Oh well, I am so grateful he is healthy!!!

Hope went for her 3 year well check. 30 lbs. 32 inches.

Hope also went to the allergist. She did great too! She did not show up with any of the allergies!! We were so excited. But then I took her to the alternative allergist and she said she tested positive for the peanuts and tree nuts. She said we should never give her nuts either because she probably develop an allergy later in life to them. :( Oh well, just grateful for health! And that they can experience this together!

I feel that their allergies are confirming that God wants me to home school them and keep them close with me! I love them so much! They are so much fun right now and are really starting to understand their allergies. Isaiah knows he has to ask or will say I don't know what is in that so I cant have it. Sometimes it breaks my heart but most of the time he doesn't need the junk anyway:)

Micah went for a 3 month well check (since we missed the 2 month because we were on vacation). He is 16lbs. 14 oz. and 26 3/4 inches!!! So BIG! We checked against Isaiah's baby book. They seem to be about the same weight but Micah is much longer. Isaiah was only 26 1/2 inches at 4 1/2 months! So crazy how long he is!

I was really bummed when Ashley (Dave's cousin) told me my battery died on my camera. I thought she didn't get any pictures at all....but she took a ton! The battery ran out right before he was baptized so I am waiting for pictures from Mrs. Socha, Kristina, and Helena...I hope they got some good ones. Micah David was baptized yesterday. It was a beautiful, private ceremony. Thank you to all our friends and family that made it on such short notice. Monsignor really wanted to do the baptism while we were here so, we made it happen. Monsignor is the godfather and Kristina Fiore is the godmother. We are so grateful that she made the trip out here.

We are so blessed with all our friends and family here. One of our friends took pictures yesterday and already sent them and made a video of them. It is so beautiful!! Thank you Susan and John!! We love it. Here is the video. I am waiting for more pictures because of course my camera battery died when we were there.

I found time to upload more pictures from our trip. I don't know how many of you know but the only way Micah will sleep is on his tummy. Since doctor's do not recommend that...we have been staying up taking shifts watching him sleep. On this trip, Dave's cousin Ashley is our Godsend!! She is helping us with the kids, running errands, and she takes a shift at night for us so that we are getting some sleep! I don't know how we would make it without her. Maybe that's why we don't know when we are coming back yet. LOL! We are trying to talk he into coming back with us...we would love it and so would the kids....they adore her! Well if she doesn't...we are looking for a night nanny to take that first shift...LOL!

I hope you all had a blessed Easter. We did! One of the reasons we headed to California for Easter was to celebrate Easter at our church here. We still really miss out church and the kids do too! It was such an amazing celebration of Our Lord. It also helps to be great friends with the Monsignor to get reserved seating so we don't have to worry about standing with all the kids.

California Part One

We are in California!!! Yahoo!!! We needed some sunshine and warm weather. The winter was hard on us all this year. I have been trying to post pictures but this connection is so slow....so it has taken longer than expected. I hope you are all having a Happy Easter! We miss you all! We will let you know when we are coming home....but we are having a great time just walking everywhere and of course shopping!!

Sorry so late with this post. I cannot believe how behind I am but of course we have been busy and I have had no time on the computer.

So can you believe my baby girl is 3??? I cannot!!! Hope never has had a haircut because I love long hair so, I promised on her birthday she could get one. I only let them trim it (which the lady said was a waste of time....but who cares.) We also had a bowling party for her. My kids love bowling ever since we started playing Wii. It was so much fun! So I have been trying to figure out who Micah looks like. He reminded me of someone but I couldn't figure it out until....I looked back in my blog. Look under March 2007 and April 2007. Micah looks exactly like Hope when she was a baby! So crazy! So glad I have this blog to realize how much my babies change and grow:)

We had Hope's 3rd birthday party today. I can't believe she is almost 3! I will post pictures soon. We had such a blast and the cake was so delicious this time!!!

Time Truely Does Fly!

I cannot believe Micah is already one month old. It feels like we just brought him home from the hospital last week. We are still working on his reflux. He has had some good days/nights and some bad days/nights. We are headed to a pediatric chiropractor tomorrow....she did wonders for Tyler and we are hoping for the same. We also are seeing his allergist on Wednesday and going for his one month check up on Thursday. Very busy here but we are hoping to go on vacation next week so we have to get this all in:) I will let you know how all the appointments go.

My kids all love Tyler. I think it is partly because they can feed him a bottle...LOL! But they do fight about who is going to feed him so that would drive me crazy all day! LOL!

We are doing well over here. Micah has started showing more signs of having silent reflux so nighttime just went bad. He now is sleeping on us. The swing doesn't work and neither does his angled mat....so we are taking shifts. Dave is sleeping right now as I type this one handed. We do not want to put him on medicine and are hoping for some good results with our alternative allergist on Wednesday (Prayers needed:) So until then if you would like a night shift, let me know....haha!

Here are some new pictures of all of us enjoying Micah. He is such a good little guy and really couldn't imagine not having him in our lives. Yes...we are all a little tired from the late nights, wakings and feedings but we are managing. I forgot to mention in my last post how Mrs. Socha was such a huge blessing to us. She helped with all the kids, did laundry, dishes, cleaned, and cooked for an army!! She also helped with those late nights and we are looking forward to her coming back next week!! I am still healing and the doctor told me I have to slow down for a few days. They think I am doing too much....well how do they want me to do that with 3 kids!!! Thank God for Dave and the love of his family that he stays home to help. I am so grateful for him!

Welcome Micah David!!

Micah David arrived right on time....some say just like his Mommy because I always have to be on time. LOL! He was 8lbs 9oz and 22 inches long. He was born at 2 pm. We are so blessed by him. And again always surprised when we find out what the sex is. I was thinking boy but changed my mind at the end to a girl.

It is really funny that he is a boy because my friend Maria wrote a whole blog about her son Preston how he wanted a brother before she knew she was pregnant....and he got a brother. It was the same thing here. One day Isaiah said he wanted a baby brother out of the blue...and a few days later we found out we were pregnant. Weird how they can sense things. So that is why I thought it was going to be a boy!

So here he is. We are so blessed and still is such awe of this amazing miracle! We love him so much and so do his sister and brother.

On the way home from the hospital. We had to stay longer than we wanted to because Micah didn't pass his blood sugar tests at first so they couldn't circumcise him. It was a long 3 days. I had to use formula to make him pass his tests and he broke out in this horrible rash!!! It is all gone now..Thank God!

We are all adjusting here. You did not see many pictures with Hope and Micah because Hope got sick the day after we got home. She was puking everywhere and we thought she had the stomach flu. We had to keep her away from me and Micah and she was so upset. She is a Mama's girl and I couldn't hold her and she couldn't go near her new baby brother. She cried for 2 days almost all day. Today is the first day she is more herself. She ended up just having an ear infection but she always pukes when she gets them...weird! Thank God that is all it was.

They are still getting used to their brother and their Mommy not being able to do a lot. I just went to the doctor because my legs are very weak when I walk . They don't think it is anything but they are going to test my thyroid. Hopefully my strength comes back soon and the tests come back fine.

Micah also went for his 5 day check up and he is doing great. He was already back up to 8lbs 7 oz!

We are still waiting for the baby. I am due in two days!!

I went to the doctor today. I have to go for a stress test on Monday to make sure everything is well with the baby. Then I will see the doctor on Tuesday to set an induce date. Of course if the baby makes their appearance before then....then I don't have to do any of those. I am hoping that the baby does come because I don't want to go to the hospital for the stress test...I want to go to the hospital to have the baby!! We will see and I will keep you all posted!

Thank you all for the prayers. We are really all looking forward to meeting our new little one:) Isaiah and Hope are getting a little impatient:)

36 almost 37 weeks!

Yes...I am counting down!!! Feel a lot bigger than last week and looking a lot bigger. I think the pregnancy glow is gone and exhaustion has set in. HA HA! I usually need a nap every day!

I went for another sonogram on Tuesday because last week I was measuring small (after measuring so big for so long...go figure!) But every thing looks great and the baby is measuring big too. So who knows. I go to the doctor again tomorrow...I am every week now...So I will let you know if there is any progress.

I am very anxious for Kristine and Scott's little one to arrive. She is due in 5 days but they will induce on Feb 1st!! Getting close for everyone. I think the kids are getting anxious too!!

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope you had a good time ringing in the new year. We did not make it to midnight! Too tired!! HA HA! But we had a great night. We told the kids all about New Year's, they watch some other countries ring in the new year, and we had a parade around our house with their hats and horns. They were so cute. We also played a bunch of games. They LOVE to play games and both of them catch on very quickly.

Also...Happy Anniversary to all of us!! HA HA! I started this blog 3 years ago! So crazy to think of so much time passing but I enjoy sharing with all of you. I hope you like it too!

That Isaiah has been sleeping in his own bed in his own room for 3 1/2 weeks now!!! YEA!!!
It all started when I just could not sleep anymore. Between Isaiah and the baby kicking it was crazy. So we put his bed in his room....there were tears, but he did great! He comes in once or twice a night...and we just walk him back and he goes right back in his bed. Sometimes he doesn't come in at all.
We did have to get him a digital clock. He was waking really early and I remember his cousin Cade did that. They got him a clock and told him it had to say 6 before he could get up. We did the same thing and works like a charm. Thanks Carrie:) (As I am writing this...I just heard his footsteps into my room...LOL!)

Isaiah and Hope have been taking Mommy, Daddy, and Me Ice Skating classes. Really it is Daddy and Me since I am not about to put on ice skates. LOL! I can't believe how great the teachers are and how fast they are learning. Isaiah could walk/skate before he started. But now he can skate pretty fast, get up when he falls down, jump on skates, and kick a ball or puck with his skates. Hope didn't like it too much the first week. I think because the instructor took her the whole time and she likes to be with her Daddy. But this week....she skated by herself from the instructor to her Daddy!! She did cry a little in the beginning but then stayed on longer than her brother!! She is also very good at kicking a ball or puck with her skates! I cant' wait to see them next week...I missed this week because I had a doctor appointment.

We also started praying together as a family at night about a month ago. We used to pray with whoever we put to bed since they go to bed at different times, but decided to do it together. It is so sweet how they want to pray and have both become very good at praying. It is so sweet to witness and really makes my heart smile. They are both growing so fast!

I am now 31 1/2 weeks pregnant. I don't know how many of you know but...I was in the hospital again the other day!! We were out to dinner for Dave's work Christmas party and my back started to hurt really bad. Now this is now unusual since I have had a lot of back pain with this pregnancy. I couldn't walk around the mall that's how bad is was (since I love to shop...he he!) Anyway, we went home and I tried to sleep. I kept getting woken up by severe stabbing in my back. I couldn't sleep! So I finally called the doctor at 4 am and headed into the hospital. I was having contractions but they did a lot of tests and said that they are 99% sure I will not deliver in the next 2 weeks. I probably will even go late they said! HA HA! I believe them. I was exhausted that day. Thank God my mom was there to help out. She came at 4 and left after I napped for a bit. Very scary but just glad that we are OK. I need to go to my chiropractor since I haven't been in a long time...but of course he is on vacation this week. My back is still killing me. Any ideas to help with back pain would be greatly appreciated! :)

Dave...
Last week he and Randy went to NYC and Boston for business. Of course he had to fly home on the day that we have a snow storm. I kept telling him to do what he thinks is best. He did take a flight home....but they circled Buffalo for a long time. They tried to land twice and then headed to Syracuse. He was texting me as he was in the air. I was so worried about him! Flying freaks me out. Anyway, when they got to Syracuse they were going to refuel and try again. Dave and Randy decided to get off the plane and drive. I was a little scared because roads were closed, there were white-outs and Dave is not a good driver at night...he always falls asleep. Well thank God they drove!! Their flight went back to Buffalo and circled for an hour and ended up in Philly where they had to spend the night. They didn't get into Buffalo until the next afternoon!! And Randy is such a trooper and drove the whole way home....and of course Dave couldn't keep his eyes open! LOL! So thankful they were OK. I was definitely on my knees praying that whole night. So scary!

Other than that....we have been busy with Christmas shopping and wrapping. I have to buy one more gift after I post this and then I am done!! And all my wrapping is done!! I had to do a little at a time because my back cannot handle it that long.

I cannot believe Isaiah is 4! That is so crazy to me. He is growing up so fast. He looks like such a big boy when I look at him....no more baby. He is quite the character too. He is funny and comes up with some of the funniest things. He is always thinking and trying to solve problems.

I found out on Monday that I passed the diabetes test. YES!!! Thank God!!! I couldn't imagine going on a crazier diet.

Right now most dairy does not agree with me and the baby....so I have not had ice cream in 5 months!! Yes...so crazy since I crave it every.single.day.!!! So that is one thing I am hoping I can have after the baby is born. Hopefully the baby can handle dairy when I am breastfeeding.

Dress Up/All Souls Eve??

As many of you know....we don't really get to much into Halloween. We don't celebrate for a few reasons....1) Everyday is dress up here, 2) The kids don't really know what candy is , 3) They can't eat most of the candy passed out due to allergies, 4) We don't live in a neighbor hood so nobody comes here to trick or treat, and 5) my kids are usually in bed by 7 about the time it starts. :)

Oh well, maybe someday when they are older. I am so thankful not to have all that candy around. I would just eat it all day!!

We went to the neighbors because they wanted to show the kids their costumes. I didn't buy any new costumes but Isaiah wanted to be Lighting McQueen like last year anyway. Hope would not wear her princess costumes so I convinced her to be a baby. She loved it because she could have Pinky and her Pappy the whole time. Ha ha!

Here are some updated pictures. I am definitely feeling bigger. The doctor said I am measuring a lot bigger...but I do have some bigger babies. I have to go for the 3 hour gestational diabetes test tomorrow. Praying I can do it and I don't pass out or get really sick!! Also praying that I don't have it. I would hate to have to prick my finger all the time:(
