Okay Okay

I know it has been a long time, but we have been really busy...And I feel like I don't have a minute to myself some days. And if I do....blogging is not top on my list:)

So here's whats been going on...

Isaiah was not napping for about 2-3 weeks and then we went to Cincinnati for a funeral (I will talk about that later). We went out of the house without telling him we were leaving for fear of crying and not letting us go, but it completely backfired. For the rest of the trip I could not leave the room without him crying and running after me. He also would not take naps and he was so overtired all the time. Now that we are home and things are getting back to normal, he is getting better. I told him every time I leave I will tell him, but that doesn't mean he can come with me all the time. I also am back to driving him around to fall asleep, but right now he needs some sleep.

Hope....she is cute and sweet BUT WILL NOT EAT ANYTHING!!! She is so picky and I don't have many options to give her. Since her bother has peanut allergies...she has a possibility of having them too, so I can't give her any peanut products until she is skin tested at age 2. She also cannot eat any cheese....every time I try...she ends up with a horrible diaper rash:( She eats pasta, hot dogs, turkey, applesauce, a lot of fruit, and some veggies. Any ideas on food you think she would eat would be helpful:)
Our weeks are pretty busy. We now take swim lessons, music class, and gymnastics every week. The kids love it and it gives up something to do and practice at home too. Isaiah learns songs pretty fast and loves to sing them all the time. When we were in Cincinnati he had everyone singing the ABC's at sushi! He is a riot. Hope is so eager to talk! I can't wait until she can....I think she is going to just come out with sentences...ha ha!

Last week we went to Cincinnati for a funeral. I didn't have time to post our prayer request...so I am posting it now because prayers are always needed. Please keep the Fiore family in your prayers. We had a great time spending time with them. They are an amazing family. Isaiah LOVES Mia...seriously...she is the only person he shares with!!

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

I am sending you this e-mail for our dear family friends the Fiore's.

You have probably heard me talk about them in the past...they have 9 kids.
Their oldest child Mikayla had a baby 5 months ago. The father of the baby
committed suicide on Saturday. Needless to say, Mikayla is devastated. She
has many questions about this including where this man will spend eternity.
This is tough stuff...

I ask that you lift their family in prayer, and that they could be there for
each other during this stressful time.

It is hard to comprehend Romans 8:28 during this time..but, we need to
believe in God's Word.

Thank-you for your support through prayer.

New Routine

I haven't posted in awhile because we have had a new schedule lately....it is called NO NAPPING!

I try everyday for about a 1/2 and hour to get Isaiah to go down for a nap but....he usually does not go down. He is so tired though...poor thing. BUT that also means after we live through some tears and meltdowns....he goes to bed at 7 with Hope. AND we actually get some adult time to talk, watch a movie, or do whatever we want (and I have not chose blogging to be one of them....sorry).

The kids are doing great. Isaiah is very silly as usual and Hope is babbling away (I wish I knew what she was saying:) We are taking a music class on every Tuesday morning with the kids and they love it. Isaiah asks to go everyday. He sings a lot of the songs at home too. It is really cute. He learns them very fast! Next week we are going to start gymnastics with them too. Hope is such a monkey. She can climb anywhere...she copies anything her brother does! I also want to continue swim lessons with them. Isaiah is doing so great. He swims all over the pool with just his life jacket and would stay in there forever if I let him. Hope loves it too. She is a little to crazy for me though. She has no fear....just wants to walk in the water or put her face right under.

I always feel like I am running around doing errands. And I always forget something when I am out even if I have a list...so I have to go back to the store again later in the week. Crazy!

We are loving it here and seeing lots of friends and family. We would love to get together with more people too but realize everyone is so busy in the summer. But that should change after this week and everyone back to school!

Here are some cute pictures of Hope at a concert we went too. Sorry none of Isaiah...he didn't want any taken.
