Little Helper

I finally made my cut out cookies today while the kids were napping. Isaiah got up just in time to help me frost. He actually sat in the high chair AND didn't want to get out!

He was such a good helper. He didn't realize he could eat the frosting until the very end..when he started to eat it off the knife...ha ha!

We also made him the letter "I" (or it could be an "H" for Hope...but she is too little to eat the cookies so its an "I"). He loved it!!

Next year I will have two helpers =)

Christmas Cards

By now everyone should have received their Christmas cards in the mail.

Today Isaiah actually wanted me to take pictures of them and here is how they turned out....

I did not do any posing. This is how Isaiah sat and smiled. He is too funny. To bad he wasn't all dressed up, but I couldn't change him and risk the chance of losing time to take pictures. Maybe next year we will take our own pictures!! I just need a better background...ha ha!

Reason #42 On Why We Need To Move...

I was at the post office today with the two kids. Hope in the baby Bjorn and Isaiah in an umbrella stroller. As I was walking to go into the post office, this older lady was pulling out and started yelling at us...."Don't you dare cross in front of me...Do you see me? Do you see me? Don't do it!" Then as she was pulling away she waves at me and says "Bye Lady Bye!"

Now of course I wanted to say something to her. It was cold and I was trying to get the kids inside as the wind is blowing on them and Isaiah is saying...cold mama, cold. BUT...I just smiled and waited until she was done and gone to cross. I don't know what was going through her mind as she did this, but most people when they see someone with kids...let them cross in front of them.

Another lady who witnessed the whole thing just looked at me and smiled. She must be from the east coast to...ha ha!

Here you go...

For all of you asking for pictures of the kids...I am sorry but my computer was in getting repaired because I dropped it! Whoops! And our backup computer is really old and shuts down any time you try and do anything.

Of course it was the worst timing to go in because I had all my pictures on it...and my Christmas addresses on it...So it was horrible. But it is back and not completely fixed because it was going to cost $700 to fix...so we will look at new ones after Christmas. Hopefully they will have a good deal on them.

Anyway...here are some new pictures of the kids...

***UPDATED***

I just took this one and thought Hope looked adorable so I had to post. Sorry Isaiah is napping!

My Little Shopper

Yup...it's official....Hope is totally a girl!! She loves to shop.

Yesterday we went shopping for the kids Christmas gifts...since I left those for last. (They don't really care much anyway...or should I say understand). But she loves the lights, and people and of course all the toys.

I just plop her in the Baby Bjorn and she is good to go. I am so glad!!

Although...I don't know how long it will last....I remember when Isaiah was a great shopper. Now he just wants to play with the toys or watch the TV. He remembers what every store has to play with. What a memory on that kid.

So just a few more errands today and then I am all done!! Post office, Bank and Target with both kids....this will be fun!!

CBS Morning Show

I don't know how many of you watch this show...but Dave's talking Jesus doll was on. It was in the segment "What do you buy someone who has everything??" But they advertised this doll on ebay because Walmart is sold out of them. And the person or persons on ebay are selling them for $200.00...WOW! They sell for $19.99!!

But because you are our family and friends....if you really want one....let me know...and I will get you one when they come in!!

I feel like I am losing my mind...

I have been to the store everyday. And despite my lists....I still forget something that I need at the store, which means I have to go back again tomorrow. And it is not something little that can wait until next week...it is usually food for Hope or laundry detergent when I am out....It is driving me crazy. I am never this bad. Hopefully it won't last long. It is driving me crazy. And the poor kiddos keep getting dragged to the store. Sorry Isaiah and Hope...maybe this will make you good shoppers!! Or maybe you can talk more and remind me what I need to buy!!

A couple of things...

1. I thought you might like this story....

The other day we were in Target shopping with the kids. We were looking for some boxes and Isaiah was getting antsy. So we gave him a roll of wrapping paper to play with. Then all of the sudden he is yelling gun, gun, deer, deer, turkey, turkey. People were laughing as they walked by. I guess he has watched to many hunting shows with Grandpa Joe.

2. Lights...

Isaiah LOVES Christmas lights. My friend Jill has been telling to go to this one street up here in Valencia. So last night we went. There were so many cars and people there. Every house on this street was decorated. I have never seen so many lights. Luckily we found a parking spot and walked all along the street. Each house has a sign that tells a part of the Night Before Christmas story so by the time you get to the end....you have read the whole story. Isaiah couldn't believe it and neither could we. It must take them at least a week to decorate. In order to get Isaiah in the car....we had to drive through it again. We will definitely be back to see them again soon!!

3. Hope....

And who could forget about Hope. She is doing well being off her medicine. However, she wants to be held all the time!! I don't know if there is any correlation between the two but, I can't figure out why?? Any ideas??

4. Playdate

Jill stopped by the other night with Lily and Presley and the kids had a blast...even Hope and Lily. They couldn't believe all the kids. Hope was so funny. Lily was in her exersaucer and Hope was standing on the other side playing with her and touching her head...and getting a little rougher and rougher...I think she thought since she was bigger she could pick on Lily like Isaiah picks on her.
Presley and Isaiah have so much fun...However...they do like to hug and kiss a lot! They are so cute together!

That is about all here except trying to finish up the Christmas shopping! Hopefully I will be done soon...9 more days to Christmas!

I forgot to mention...

Hope is doing so much better with her reflux that we weaned her off her medicine. She has been medicine free since Saturday. She occasionally spits up (like all babies do) but, I don't even know when she does until I pick her up and smell that sour smell. She is doing so well and is such a happy little girl.

She is all girl. One day I will video her crawling. She crawls like a girl...it is so funny. She moves her head from side to side and picks her hands up and lays them down gently when she crawls...it is so funny.

Boys and girls are so different! I remember Isaiah army crawling at this age. He was so big, but strong, that he just used his arms to pull himself across the floor.

They are getting so big so fast!! I cannot believe it. Hope will be walking in a few months and then they will have so much fun chasing each other around....they won't need Mama to "hold you" (as Isaiah says!) Ha ha! Actually they are both in this phase where they both want to be held if I am holding the other one. That means...crying from one of them because I am not allowed to hold both of them at the same time according to Isaiah....which means long days....

This is too cute!

My Aunt Josie just sent this to me. It is so cute! I never knew my kids were such good dancers!

You can make your own too...send it to me if you do!

***UPDATED***

Since Isaiah and Hope loved it so much...I made a new one of the whole family. Watch Dave his elf is hysterical!!

Just so you know....

Yes we are in Buffalo. But...we are seriously considering moving here so...we have been very busy looking at houses and commercial property. So one day when we finally move here we will visit everyone again. So please do not be upset that we are not calling you...we are not calling anyone!!
You can all pray that we find the right house and work area so that we can see you more often....well you can see our kids more often (we know you really just want to see them!! Ha ha!)

Please Pray

One of Dave's employee's, Staci, sister was killed on Sunday in a fatal car crash. She was only 19 years old. There were 2 or 3 other cars that were street racing and they blew through a red light and hit her. Please keep their family in your prayers.

My Mom is going home tomorrow =(

I love when my Mom is here. I always make a list of all the things that I need to do while she is here. It is nice to have someone here to help with the kids, the laundry, the dishes and the cleaning, and to do all the errands that I save up for when she is here.

I offically started Christmas shopping on Wednesday and I am almost done. I would run out in the morning and my mom would babysit...or we would all run out together after naptime. I just have to buy for Mr. and Mrs. Socha and for our godchildren!!! I feel so much pressure lifted off of me! I don't know when I would have done it all. I guess I would have figured it out, but this way the kids didn't have to get dragged in every direction. We also bought our tree and decorated it.

I am so sad to see her go...but she will be back soon...and another list of things will begin.
