Fall/Winter is Here!

As many of you know, Dave was in Hong Kong for 11 days. While he was gone, he missed a lot of the beautiful colors and smells of the Fall. He also missed the first snow of the year (a light dusting). I know he will see many more of those soon enough:) Here are some pictures of the first snow, our (late) Fall walk though the backyard, and the kids at a Halloween party!

Here is our walk in the back. I am sure a few weeks earlier would have been more beautiful, but we had a lot of fun!
Dave and the kiddos:)
This tree had a huge hole in it so Dave wanted us all to take a picture with our heads in it. The kids were not too sure about it, but they made cute pictures.

Yup...even I made the pictures.

Then as we were heading back, this animal (which we later found out was a pheasant) followed us all the way home..at least a 1/2 mile. I was a little afraid it might be mean and peck us or something, but it just followed us all the way to our house. Isaiah thought we were going to keep it as a pet.
The kids were invited to a Halloween Party at the Orchard Park Country Club by my friend Jen. It was so cute. They had great decorations, music, dancing, and food...all geared towards the children. Of course Isaiah didn't take a nap that day because he was so excited his Dad was home and he wanted to go to sleep so bad. Poor thing.
Lighting McQueen!
Our friend Jen and her daughter Maddie! She was the cutest Bumble Bee ever!! Her little dress bopped up and down as she danced. It was adorable!
Isaiah dancing.
Our little ladybug! She only wore this for about 2 seconds...long enough to take this picture. But wouldn't you know...the next day she wanted to wear them all day!
And her costume...she would not put her arms in the sleeves...I had to put it under her armpits so she would wear it.

What fun! The kids will be jealous when they hear about snow. But we are glad that the weather was so beautiful for the wedding and our stay. It was great to see everyone and your beautiful home...now the pictures mean more since we have been there! Glad that Dave made it back. Hope the trip was prosperous. Love you all.
